CVTail keeps one profile of your experience. When you paste a job description, it pulls the parts of your profile that answer each requirement, asks you before using the employer's wording for a skill you describe differently, lists what your profile doesn't cover, and drafts a tailored resume you can edit and export as a PDF.
CVTail works only from the career data you enter. It rewrites and reorders what you already told us to speak the same language as the job description, and it doesn't use generic templates. Where the job asks for something your profile doesn't cover, that gap is shown to you to confirm rather than written into the CV. Review the result before you send it: it is generated text, and you are the one signing it.
You are still the author of your career facts. The tool helps structure and match language to the posting. Use your judgment on tone and claims, just like with any resume template or editor.
CVTail can detect alternate wording, acronyms, and versioned skill names. When the match is not already confirmed, it asks you first, then uses the job's wording only when it is backed by your real profile.
Your account data is stored to run the product (tailoring, PDFs, billing). We do not use your resume content to train public AI models.
